I went to Max's on the recommendation of a friend and I am very glad. Being new in town, I was looking for an excellent, locally-owned restaurant.
I have tried almost everything on the menu and many of their specials and they are always perfectly perpared and well presented.
For those that have had mediocre service, I suggest asking for Micah. We were lucky enough to be seated in her station on our first visit and she was wonderful and friendly. Now, we always ask to be seated in her station when we go.
