barnaby's is by far my favorite pizza in the world. the downtown south bend location is better than the grape road restaurant-- so make sure to try their excellent pizza on jefferson. there isnt much ambiance-- its supposed to look bavarian i think.... the booths run together so you will be sitting right beside another party...not a problem, however, when you consider the great pizza. its seat yourself, and on busier nights you may have to wait for someone to leave and sit at a dirty table until someone comes by and wipes it down. but, nobody goes to barnaby's for the classy atmosphere! the pizza crust is perfect and you can choose virtually any combination of toppings. there are a few good beers on tap and pretty cheap pitchers. the value is excellent. i now live in boston and i miss barnaby's every time i have pizza!
