About a month ago I started getting these annoying popups advertising everything from hair restore treatments to suggestions on how to increase my manly nature and please every woman on the planet. I always just closed them and didn't think anything else about it. To my surprise closing these windows by the lil red X actually ""gave"" those malicious pop ups permission to have a cyber party on my computer at my expense. I had always assumed that my anti-virus would prevent that from happening. Unfortunately I was wrong and now I needed a ""computer guy"". A quick google search on my roommates computer provided me with some options. After some leg work and a few calls I chose Secure Remote Support. I selected them because I didn't have to deliver my computer to complete strangers or have someone come to my home. Their website, secureremotesuport[dot]com advertised a remote repair service to eliminate my virus intrusions for $79.99. So I took advantage of this offer and they had me up and going within an hour or so. All from my the comfort of my couch. Best 80 bucks I've spent in awhile.
