Review content:
I went to Eyecandy for a hair cut and highlights. I just moved back to the Nashville area after being gone for a while, and wanted to find a new salon. I chose Eyecandy because of their many great reviews. Specifically, I had read many positive things about Ashlee; so, I decided to give her a try. I told her that I wanted a trim; because, I'm trying to grow my hair out. It's at a length where the ends in the back are starting to flip outwards, which I told her I hate. She said she would cut the back so that this would not happen. I also told her I wanted the layers in my hair reshaped so they would look good again. She said she would do that. After doing the highlights and washing my hair, I went back to the chair. She turned the chair away from the mirror, so I couldn't see what she was doing. I thought she was just blow drying my hair. When the blow dryer turned off, she said I was done. The overall length of my hair was fine. However, the layers were gone, except for a few blunt layers that don't blend well into the rest of my hair. The worst part was that the back of my hair was still flipped outwards. She had done nothing to correct this. I looked upset, and she did what she could to fix some of the bluntness around my bangs. She didn't even try to straighten the back of my hair. I would have asked her to continue, but she had already started working on another client, who she needed to attend to. I left dissatisfied. I did see a lot of other people walking out of there with great hair cuts and color. I wish I had gone to another stylist. Pros: the highlights Cons: the haircut
