We went to this restaurant with another couple who had found the restaurant on website and purchased a $25 coupon from their website. The restaurant had chosen to participate in this promotion, presumably to gain new business. We went to the restaurant around 8 PM on a Saturday night. The place was completely empty. The hostess was surly from the start, she seemed irritated to be seating us. The waiter took forever to take out orders, there were no entree specials and no vegetable choices. He admitted that ""Someone needed to go shopping"", it seemed they were out of a lot of things. The food took forever to arrive, when it finally did, it was apparent that some dishes had been sitting under a warmer for quite some time. The food was OK. I had sea bass, and it was tasty... but I was the only one who liked my entree. They had served me some sort of unpalatable starchy mush which was completely unidentifiable. When we received the bill, we gave them the $25 coupon and all of a sudden the waitstaff was in a tizzy. I could see them all shaking their heads, annoyed that we were giving them a coupon they offered themselves online. He took the bill back and returned with the $25 removed, but the gratuity included... for a table of 4. Not only is it not standard to include the gratuity, but he had already given us the bill without the gratuity. It was so unbelievably rude! He screwed himself though, I never tip less than 20% and he calculated the gratuity at 18% and we didn't give him a penny more. I would never return to this restaurant, and I would suggest you steer clear as well.
Cons: Creepy ambiance, poor service, terrible food.
