Businiess name:  Eagle Lines Moving
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
On June 18th of 2010 the Eagle Movers were hired to move us from Shrewsbury to Shrewsbury. Damaged futon (unusable), italian buffet, dining table (by forced assembly), kid's bedroom set (again incorrect assembly, drilled wholes where they were not supposed to be). Default insurance is useless since they are not willing to pay based on it. While moving a number of items were damaged that according to insurance policy are to be reimbursed by weight at .60C per pound. Eagle or their agent insurance company is refusing to pay based on the actual (about 650lb) weight of the damaged goods and refuse to come and weight the damaged items per their own policy. We have provided detail description of the items together with the links to these items on the internet where weight for these items is specified. They are refusing to take this into account and are basing their offer of $60 for damages at some random number for weight of the items. I have requested for them to either come in and weight items that were damaged or use the number provided by item descriptions from various web sites.
