Review content:
I've had eye problems and thus have had eye care for 14 of the 21 years of my life. I've visited three different doctors before, not including this one, so I'd say that I'm a pretty good judge of what qualifies as good service. Maybe it's because I'm a new customer--not that that should make any difference--but I noticed a lack of respect for me as a customer. They seemed a bit cold and said a couple of things that implied they only cared about the business I was bringing, not me as a patient. (there were many assumptions about what my long-term eye doctor would or would not do in regard to ordering contacts for me; basically they just wanted me to order through them) In addition, there was more than one mix up, prompting me to no longer want to order through them. However, when I tried to tell them I would be going back to Houston and order from my eye doctor, they went so far as to question my intelligence. I've been perfectly polite through everything, but perhaps it's time to fight fire with fire to get my money back. Pros: It's close to the UT campus, a few staff members actually treat you decently Cons: Poor customer service, I've seen a wider selection of frames.
