Review content:
First the good: I love Aveda products and they carry a full line. They also do a great job with waxing, using a different system than most salons which results in much greater level of comfort and reduced post waxing redness and irritation. I never go anyplace else for waxing. The staff has always been quite polite and friendly. Now the bad--the atmosphere is like a big metal industrial warehouse, loud and clankiy. I much preferred their smaller brick building. There is no privacy. Manicures are done literally at a bar at which many others sit on barstools, while the manicurist stands on the other side for your manicure. Pedicures are in the same room. The services are very youth oriented. I have tried this place twice for haircuts with different stylists and they have been awful--no experience with hair over 35 years of age. And I think the prices are quite high for the services rendered. My manicure for my son's wedding lasted 2 days before polish was noticibly damaged, whereas other manicures I have had elsewhere have lasted 5-7 days before this happens. Overall impression: some good things and some bad.
