I switched our children's pediatricians office from Saltzer after several billing issues (double billed for appointments, billed for visits that never happened, wrong coding so insurance wouldn't cover visits, etc). Since the Quick Care facility is closer than their new pediatrician, we make occasional visits there for immediate issues. On a recent visit they removed a popcorn kernel from my daughter's nose, and billed my insurance over $500 for the two minute procedure. Because my insurance does not cover these types of visits I am now stuck with the outrageous bill. I will never go to one of their facilities ever again!
