The perfect place to go mull over coffee with friends or study for your next final, Day by Day Cafe proves that you don't have to be elegant to be great. The unapologetically-shabby decor makes you feel right at home, down to the menus that are hand-crayoned by elementary students at local schools. A sturdy, all-American menu with all the old favorites- breakfast with old-fashioned hashed browns is available all day - completes the ""security blanket"" feel that you get while you're in Day by Day. The staff is equally unpretentious and familiar, and contributes to the laid-back, unobtrusive attitude of the place. A great choice for a quiet Sunday afternoon, or any time of the week.
