Review content:
For the first time in my life, I had to call the corportate headquarters of a company to complain about the way I was treated by a retail staff. Now, I realize that they do not have any obligation to purchase any articles brought to them, but they took my bags, looked at about three pieces out of each bag, and then made fun of my clothing (most of which came from either Nordstrom's or Express and were nearly all very stylish and expensive pieces), said I lied about the things being new EVEN THOUGH A LOT OF THEM STILL HAD TAGS ON THEM, and was insulted and made fun of. I will never, ever step foot in that store again. Fortunately, Plato's Closets are all independently owned and operated franchises, so just because the Monroeville store is horrible, that does not mean that the other Plato's Closet staffs are as condescending and unprofessional as this store is. Oh, and by the way, they ripped huge holes in the bags I brought the clothing in, so when I took them back out to the car, they spilled all over the parking lot, because of the neglectful way they had treated my things and the packaging. If you insist on shopping there, be very wary. Plus, almost every piece of clothing that they *did* have in there was old, faded, very obviously worn, and generally looked like junk. This is maybe the worst store I have ever been to. Pros: nothing Cons: rude, condescending staff, who seem to enjoy making fun of customers
