Review content:
I finally got around to trying this place the other night. It is totally awesome, there's no really good Indian food in the neighborhood until now. I had samosas and the chicken marinated in yogurt. The owner is so nice, and brought out these great fried veggies (Indian tempura?). The naan is so fluffy and delicious. Main courses kick it. The food definitely has a spicy bite, but it's not just hot. It has wonderful layered flavors and is highly addictive. They're waiting on a liquor license so for now it is BYOB with no corkage fee. Prices are really cheap, since they're rebuilding their client base after moving to the West Village from SoHo. Pros: Delicious food, reasonable prices, BYOB Cons: small space, make reservations for weekends.
