I went and they didn't have my insurance on record. They were not very happy about it and sent me away until I had the insurance (Turns out my boss forgot to enroll me). When I came back the second time the receptionist handed me the phone and made me deal with the insurance company (this time I was insured.) Dr. Grossman was impatient, seemed like she doesnt like her job. I asked them to Xray and see if wisdom teeth were coming in. Nothing came up on the xrays, I assured her that I felt them cutting through my gums and said my teeth were shifting. She snapped at me and said ""teeth don't shift"". A few months after my visit, wisdom teeth were popping through my gums. How could they see nothing at all on the XRay? She asked me why my teeth were so stained as she looked at me in disgust. I felt like I was getting yelled at by an abusive parent. When she was scraping my teeth with the dental instrument, she was digging into my gums and cutting them. She acted as if she didnt notice as I used the sink to get rid of mouthfuls of red. Then she sent me to an Orthodontist, who also never followed up because my isurance didnt cover an uneeded surgery of re-aligning my jaw. There are too many other dentists in NYC to ever be treated that way.
