Review content:
We visited the new Stone Oak Location tonight. It is a very nice restaurant with outstanding views of the city and a nice patio also with great views and breezes. We were totally SHOCKED by the menu prices. Nacho's 12.95, Enchilada plate 10.95, Carne Asada plate with three shrimp 22.95. My wife ordered the enchilada plate which she enjoyed and said were very tasty. I noticed the rice and bean portions were small. I had two Beef Fajita's from the alacart section, and the flour tortilla's were as tough as a boot. The beef was good quality, but it lacked flavor. My son ordered two cheese enchiladas also off of the alacart menu and again his corn tortillas were very tough. He left 2/3's of his plate on the table. Service was fair at best with the waiter only visiting 4 times during the meal. I counted only 7 other occupied tables so it wasn't because they were busy. I hate to say it but I predict they will do well until everyone has tried it once, then they will resort to ""all you can eat catfish"" or breakfast to try to survive. It's sad because I know they made a huge investment and the Aldaco's Location downtown has been very good and reasonably priced. Glad we tried it, but we won't be back.
