Took a spontaneous trip one night to old New Orleans to check out the sites. Walk around a few blocks looking for a late nite place to eat. To our surprise walked upon the greatest find ever! The Old Coffee Pot Restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful, the place itself was like being in another time, and the food was excellent! The service was beyond exceptional. We were given a special tour by ""Guy"" the maitre'd/Headchef/Bartender on that evening. We had Seafood & Gumbo for dinner, Pecan pie for dessert, and specially prepared beverages. Overall meal and pricing was the best ever compared to the more premiere restaurants in New Orleans. Guy was an awsome conversationalist and really made us feel at home. Can't wait to go back for another visit. This time Breakfast,Lunch, and Dinner!!! Thanks Guy from Edith & Ernie. Pros: Great food, Great price, Great atmosphere Cons: NA, NA, NA
