We have been a part of the Sunshine family since 2007. My son started in the three year old room with Ms. Karen. He had a difficult time transitioning from a home daycare to a more structured environment, but Ms. Karen was able to find common ground (buttons of all things!) and build a strong relationship that allowed him excel in school. And yes, insaid school. The sunshine house is so much more than a daycare, they are a family and give an exceptional education to all types of learners. Ms. Karen was able to move to the TK (prekindergarten) room with my son's class and taught them hands on approaches to help them grasp skills needed for kindergarten. My son's first quarter skills in kindergarten were ""mastered"" within the first week of school. Ms. Karen is amazing! She is still there too! My daughter joined the infant room, and sadly will graduated to kindergarten this year. The care, love, and education she has received is unmatched. Robyn, the current director has been there the entire time we have been part of their family. She is understanding, compassionate, fair, and ALWAYS puts the kids first. Her open door policy is great, and the overall atmosphere is homey. Sometimes I kick back in the office before I pick up the kids and enjoy the company of our second family. I highly recommend you check them out! And, they give teacher discounts!
