Marden's grew out of Maine thriftiness. They search high and low to buy salvage from well know chain stores then offer Mainers greatly reduced discounts on their finds. Anywhere from tool, toys, furniture, flooring, food, and lots of clothing at absolute steals. You could spend all day looking for treasures and spend very little. When you do find something you have to snag it or you won't find it on your next trip.
