Businiess name:  Chart House Restaurant - Monterey

Review content:
All in all a great restaurant. But we were there in mid-May 2006 and had oysters that made us sick for three days. Now, in August I read in ""US News and World Report"" that has been a widespread problem up and down the West Coast this year... some sort of bacteria... and the FDA is warning people to be sure their Pacific oysters are cooked well done before eating them. Ours weren't. So, with that caution... I heartily endorse this Chart House location. The dining rooms overlooking Cannery Row and the waterfront are a wonderful place to enjoy and meal while watching the sun go down. The service and seafood is excellent and until those oysters caught up with us, it was one of the highlights of our visit to the area. Pros: Location, menu, service Cons: Parking lot is small. Like most Cannery Row restaurants, it's expensive
