This is a nice, unassuming restaurant on ""Restaurant Row"" on the north side of Myrtle Beach. We showed up around 8:45 PM on an off-season Monday night, so the place was shutting down. Nonetheless, the greeters & servers were friendly, helpful, and didn't rush us. I had grilled sea scallops, which were fantastic, and a crab cake, which looked like it was straight from the freezer, but was a pleasant surprise as it was moist, tangy and chock full o crab! My wife had the frilled salmon special, which was a tad bland. With the entrees came a small cup of fish stew, a thick tomato-based stew which was a highlight -- next time, we'll both be ordering that on its own. Also there was a standard iceberg salad & baked potato. Finally, they served a bread basket with divine cinnamon buns, and given the build-up (touted as the best I would ever have), thick and disappointing hush puppies. So the bottom line: A nice, solid, friendly restaurant with some ups and some downs. We'll go back! Pros: Fish stew! Scallops! Cinnamon Buns! Cons: Bland hush puppies.
