We spent months back and forth to this doctor and he placed a stent in my fathers heart, even though the nurse in CCU told him that the family was in the waiting room wanting to hear what had happened, he didn't even come to speak to us. We spent from 6AM till 9PM with no word on what happened except the nurse stating that Dr. Ripley had placed a stint in, She stated she told him 3 times to come speak to us, the next day the same thing, never seen a doctor, then we he came in on the thrid day my father was in CCU he walked in and siad yeah there was 70 % blockage and when we startyed asking questions he just walked out. All the nurses state he is awful and rude. he never changed his fluid medcine even though we told him from the get go my dads legs were full of fluid, you could see it. he said he wasn't worried about that. Well My father had conjested heart failure from the fluid and he sent him home knowing that his BP was very high above 170.. my dad has been filling up with fluid again and it seems that Southern Hills has let Ripley run the show for so long that he does what he wants, and has patients coming back all the time when it is not needed but when it is needed he doesn't explain anything and just takes your money for the office visit. My dad was taken to another hospital and we now know what is really wrong, my dads kidneys are messed up and should have never had dye placed in him, cause it didn't filter out... We now have to start Dialysis, thanks for nothing but pain and suffering... Do not go to this doctor he is awful....
Pros: NONE unless he stops caring for folks
Cons: Everything, he needs to retire or quit
