No matter what you're looking for, you can find it at Uhuru Furniture. The space is small, but highly active - every day the displays change with freshly donated pieces.
Not only is the customer service wonderful, but you don't have to feel guilty about spending money on yourself, because it's a fundraiser for justice and economic development for the Black community. It's even better than charity, because it's controlled by the African working-class themselves, through the African People's Education & Defense Fund.
