Review content:
There was a misunderstanding in our booking, we were supposed to have our mani's switched to pedi's due to having nails already professionally done. When this discrepancy was discovered, there was no attempt by Melissa to smooth over the situation. She came in, announced that we would not receive what we wanted and left. A second girl (who's name I do not recall) came in and was professional and accommodating. She tried to resolve the situation in a way that would please us. Melissa made it clear we were not her priority, her next appointment was.We could hear Melissa talking about us and the situation on 2 separate occasions, while we were right down the hall. There was an argument in the pedicure room, in front of my friend and I which was incredibly uncomfortable. The owner called the 2nd girl out, in the middle of my friend's pedicure, and when she returned we were informed she had quit. The 20 minutes following that, that Melissa spent on my feet were mediocre at best. I spent the next 25 minutes sitting watching my girlfriend receive a legitimate pedicure from the other girl. When we tried to call attention to the fact that the problem in this situation was Melissa we were basically dismissed by the owner. This was by far the most unprofessional spa experience I've ever had. Our treatments were comped, however I'll be hard pressed to find a reason to return to use my $150 remaining on my giftcard. In all honestly, I'd rather a refund, to use at a spa that makes me feel welcome.
