Review content:
I've never been happy with Center City salons. The cuts are way too expensive (and usually cost extra to have the finished cut blow-dried!) and the stylists are very often uppity and obnoxious. My son's female roommate, who always has great-looking hair, recommended that I try Dana at Joseph Anthony's. Although I have to take a bus all the way across town from the Broad Street area, it is well worth the trip, because Dana has never given me anything less than a perfect cut and she pays attention to me when I describe the look I want. She's friendly and down-to-earth, as are the rest of the staff there. I get the same great cut there for $30 that I would pay at least $75+ for in Center City. I've never had my hair cut by anyone else in the salon, so I can only highly recommend Dana. Pros: Dana! Cons: a bit of a schlep from Center City
