I called this company to fix an electrical water heater on a rental house and got a quote over the phone. The lady Lori who answered the phone told me it would be $127 to get someone out there plus any parts involved in fixing the issue. A technician named Dave went and it turned out that the main circuit was shut off and hence the heater was not working. Instead of charging me $127, I got a bill for $206. Dave said even though he didn't have to do anything to the water heater, he was stuck in tracffic on the way over and therefore I am being charged for the time he spent on the road. I was never quoted on the phone that tracffic time was part of the fee. In addition, when I was on the phone with Dave discussing the charges, he never mentioned that he was the owner and pretended that he was just an employee and had no authority to override the decision. He told me to call back and ask for Lori to straighten things out. When I called Lori, she was the one that told me Dave was the owner and she was never told that tracffic time was an addition charge. They also promised to mail or fax me a receipt and never did. This is really bad business practice and very dishonest people.
