I don't spend a lot of time getting my hair done, as it is long. But I threw in the towel recently and said you can't stick it up in a clip for the rest of your life, so on the recommendation of a friend, I went to Avalon. I was pleasantly surprised to not be pressured into any kind of cut nor to be made to feel a fool for the lack of attention I customarily pay to my hair's I expected to be told I ""had"" to do highlights, and in fact was actually discouraged from it given my haircolor. I have learned some wonderful tricks from my stylist to keep my hair looking nice when it is down. I have been several times now, and really appreciate no pressure, just great listening and competent effort. I highly recommend this salon.
