WHERE DO I BEGIN EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THE HORRIBLE LIVING SITUATIONS I ENCOUNTERED AS A TENEANT HERE...
The elevators, trash, noise, creepy visitors, and parking situations....anyone else notice that broken down Saturn with the missing bumper and the weed and porn in the car that hadn't moved from that same visitor spot in like 8 months' and how many people have had their grandmother get stuck in the elevator' Can someone please pick up that frozen yogurt cup that has been sitting in the stairwell for 3 weeks ' also loved the lazy sloths that couldnt be bothered to open up the trash chute and instead left their smelly trash inside the room...Tenants, is it really necessary to take home a VONS grocery cart and leave it in the hallways every week' Luxury building' HAH! btw who designs an apartment and puts a smoke detector in the kitchen close to the stove so that everytime I tried to make food it would automatically go off...
my husband and I lived in this unfortunate excuse for a luxury apartment building from April 2010-2011
I cannot find enough degrading or angry words to describe how i feel about the evil corporation that runs this place...
This was my husbands and my first apartment ever and we were so excited to move in to a new resort style apartment that was close to the freeways restaurants and everything we could possibly need...and for a good price 1299 for 1 bed/1bath...granted there are better deals out there, but for what we wanted and the washer and dryer inside, that was hard to find...
After a year later-we were presented with our renewal rates because we moved in on a ""special""...can someone please explain to me why the rent skyrocketed to 1800' That put us in a completely difficult situation and we had no choice but to put in our notice and find another place to live after only a year...and we had just gotten settled in!
I can't explain what a burden that was on us, mentally, financially, physically....
We left the place in tip top shape, hoping to get our deposit back...guess what' only got 7 dollars back...
Didn't get my 50$ deposit back that i had paid for the additional garage remote control, which I also returned to the office upon leaving...
I spent 3 months trying to track this money down-spoke to several people...
I was told that different people would return my calls and no one did...
spoke to corporate, said they had closed out the file and they couldn't verify that the remote had been returned...HEY MERIDIAN PLACE-I WANT MY 50 BUCKS BACK!!!
