Very short-sighted management. They'll do corrupt things like the ""broken mirror door"" trick. Where upon move-out in the final walk-thru suddenly ""mirrors"" are broken?!? One must take pictures of EVERYTHING, with witnesses as it is common to have mystery damage discovered after you are gone. Another regular is the ""water damage"" claim in the laundry area. Ask them for a receipt for your insurance purposes...they won't be able to provide one. It's a shame that a company of this size would take the low road going for the quick buck through unethical practices such as requiring 60 days notice even when your lease is up. Thus since 30 days notice is standard, they get an extra months rent out of everyone. Then there is the ""one year lease"" that is actually 13 months. Again, they get another months rent out of people. Legal? Mostlikely. Ethical or moral? No. I hope people keep telling the truth in these reviews. Ultimately, these unprofessional practices and the irrationally mean demeanor of their staff will have a negative effect on their business. It's an embarrassment to deal with such a ""small""thinking, parking ticket ""meter maid mentality"". I won't mention any names, but there are management companies that are much larger and doing well through their reputation of treating people with dignity and respect. Offering great service and creating a healthy sense of community can be very profitable.
