I was taking my mom birthday shopping at Eddie Bauer at Clackamas during the weekend after Thanksgiving. We asked one of the employees to see if they had a shirt in a certain size, and there was one at Lloyd Center. She said that they were not allowed to call other stores during Black Friday weekend, but that we could. I called, and said that I wanted to know if they had a certain sweater there, and that it was in the clearance section at Clackamas. The sales associate on the phone was totally snotty and said that just because it was in the clearance at Clackamas it wouldn't necessarily be at Lloyd Center (give me a break, I worked in retail, there's no reason to be snotty like that, just ask nicely about the item and go get it!). I said ""it's a brown cable knit sweater with a single shell-like button."" And she actually said, ""I need a little more to go on than that. What color is it, and how many buttons does it have?"" I started to get irritated and I told her again shortly, and I also offered to give her the style number and she seemed completely distracted, like she wasn't even listening to me. She asked for my name and went and got it, with the attitude that she was all rushed and doing me a favor. She came back and said she had it, so I asked her to put it on hold, and then she asked for my name again. What an idiot! We went over there, and there was a decently nice guy who greated us, although he did seem like he was high and I hate those salespeople who act all casual, like they're your friend or something. But I told him that whomever I talked to about the sweater was incredibly rude, and he said he knew who it was and that she was acting that way because she THOUGHT that I was an employee from Clackamas. She had no idea who I was, and she should have been smart enough to assume I was a customer. He said he would tell her, and I hope he did. I've heard that a lot of people hate the employees there. I'm glad I don't shop at Eddie Bauer myself.
Pros: Store has nicer layout than Clackamas
Cons: seriously, seriously rude employees
