I have lived here all my life and finally ventured over to Bimini with my lunch date last week. The service was fine. I was a little hesitant to go, after reading all of the reviews about the horrendous service at this restaurant, however we must have lucked out because our server was very pleasant to deal with.\r
I had the mahi sandwich with the jerk glaze. The fish filet came out nice and thick and was a good, filling cut however the "jerk glaze" was rather disappointing and definitely not memorable in a good way. Just imagine sweet and sour sauce from a chinese restaurant, with traces of jerk spices in it. That is basically what you have here. I personally prefer a dry spice rub on my jerked items, but overall the food was good and so was the service. The passion fruit ice tea was delicious too!!! It was overall a good dining experience, but nothing memorable or having me yearning to go back again.
