I've been in quite a few times for supplies, but not for traditional dolls. He always asks very condescendingly what I'm making. I tell him each time & get a ""oh, you're one of those ladies,"" as though I don't know enough about his elitist world to stand in his presence, let alone give him money.
I actually used to make traditional porcelain dolls, so I suppose the joke is on him...in that he won't get any more of my business.
It's sad that he's the only doll-making supplier in town. I'd really like to shop locally.
