Review content:
This is one of those places that has a unique charm that you will like or be overwhelmed by. If the service seems snooty, remember this is an Italian restaurant true to it's form. The culture begs for interaction. The restaurant and it service is made for the zest of life.
The wine list is impressive, and if you have the money, the Somellier if a fun way to buy wine, otherwise just give them a dollar amount and wine style and they'll help you out. I have never found them to be arrogant as much as not clear on what somebody wants. I can see why people misinterpret this restaurant but it is definitely a one of a kind restaurant you should experience.
