I don't mind dropping $200+ for a meal if all aspects of the dining experience were handled appropriately. Geronimo may be a major dining player in Santa Fe, but it has lessons to learn. Even though I had a reservation a month in advance, we found ourselves waiting 30 minutes in the excessively tight lounge. We were seated at a table that was millimeters from other tables. Waiters, guest, everyone else had no choice but to bump our chairs and table. While the food was very good, we didn't get a chance to savor it. Within 3 minutes of ordering, our first course was on the table. We didn't finish that course before our entrees were there. Then dessert menus were presented, coffee poured and we were out the door within 1.25 hours after we arrived. When I drop that kind of money, I want dining, not a fast-food experience.
