Businiess name:  Ace Mailing Servs

Review content:
With cowboy mailing houses, you have to be on your guard for all kinds of problems. But you never expect them to actually throw away the product you want to mail -- yet that's exactly what Ace Services did to us. We had some problems with the mailing, including with the printer delivering incorrectly specified items that were too heavy to ship, which then took a long lead time to replace. But the response of Ace Services was to send us a mail threatening to throw away our items unless we shipped them out in two weeks. We were unable to get an alternative mailing house in time, and emailed them politely on the due day asking them to hold the items for a few days. A few days later, we emailed asking for the package weight so we could arrange shipment, but got no reply. When we chased up by phone, someone called Chris told us the items had been thrown away, and then hung up the phone. It makes sense that mailing houses can't keep materials indefinitely. You can imagine them charging you rental for keeping them. But just throwing them away -- that's a bit shocking. If you're considering using this firm, you might want to think about what this story reveals about their approach to service. Pros: Initial price quote was competitive Cons: Destruction of client property, rudeness on phone
