Review content:
I purchased a leather sofa and love seat about two years ago for about $2000. The salesman gave me the pitch about the optional leather warranty for an additional $189, which I purchased. It was supposed to take care of anything that may happen to the leather for 5 years, accidental tears, rips, stains, anything. Well, what appears to be the sprayed on color finish started peeling off in spot like cellophane. The warranty company has an exclusion that doesn't cover ""peeling"". Mealey's says it's not covered, out of manufacturers warranty, nothing they can do. This company will not stand behind what it sells, even after buying the ""covers everything"" warranty was purchased. So I bought an expensive piece of crap leather sofa and love seat that it turns out I have to replace after two years. It looks awful. Apparently they don't care about their reputation and the quality of what they sell. Not happy. I wouldn't waste my money again on these bogus warranties. Mealey's.....you should be embarrassed.
