My car was running fine but didn't pass emissions because of a computer error. It did need an oil change, and some other maintenance was due. It was explained to them that finances were tight, but I needed to pass emissions to get my tabs. They quoted me $225 to replace the oxygen sensor. The next thing I heard was that it was going to cost me $800. After a huge tantrum, my bill was reduced to $450. They said that a part had corroded and that when they tried to remove it, it broke off, so that they had to remove the entire exhaust system and weld something back on. Ironically, I still didn't pass emissions and the check engine light came back on moments after I left the lot. They made like they had some responsibility to repair the issue and that they couldn't sign off on the emissions waiver if they hadn't followed certain protocol, when actually, all I had to spend was $150, which could have been the diagnostic test and a few simple adjustments. They knew I was coming, but didn't have the parts needed, the guy that was supposed to work on it wasn't there and the owner backed up his employees work and bill. My boyfriend spoke with them and they told him that they would credit us for the diagnostic work, which they did after charging me for another hour of labor. Original repairs were quoted at $225, but I was charged $278. Apparently they haven't worked on a Subaru Outback before. Pros: Can't miss the location Cons: Wish I would have missed the location
