St. Croix National Golf Course is an amazing course that is tucked away in the hills and forest of Somerset, Wisconsin. As you pull up to the course the road leading up to the parking lot gives you a glimpse of what lies ahead; rolling hills and magnificently manicured fairways with strategically placed bunkers. The staff was great as soon as we walked in the door; the practice tee (driving range) overlooks a 200+ft drop off. You won?t be able to get your distance, but it will help you with your control. The greens were in the best condition I have ever seen this time of year (late spring). It was a challenging course that offered some of the most beautiful tee box views you could ever imagine. Everything at this course was done at a private course level, but at public prices. Definitely play this course.
