Review content:
Live entertainment, group meetings, community and political discussions... way more than a bookstore. The owners, Carolina and Barbara, will order any books you want for very little markup. They always have a great variety and selection in stock. The focus is very political and artistic. Actually the great atmosphere and edginess give it a San Francisco feel. If you are hungry or thirsty they make all organic gourmet and delicious food (deli, baked goods, and fresh made specials) and brew some amazing coffee and espresso drinks. Get ahold of their calendar of events - and come to see guest artists, writers, poets, musicians, and more. The patrons vary from college students to elderly couples to punks to preps to queers to macho men. There is something about this place that brings many types of people and a plethora of regulars. Support this amazing place if you are in the area. Pros: intellectual, artistic, gourmet food Cons: food is expensive, limited stock, location
