Review content:
Having lived in the Bay Area for 30 years, the art supply stores in Fresno are extremely disappointing. The owner of this one is a snob and a curmudgeon and his staff is uninspired and not very knowledgeable. They do not seem to want to stock professional grade products, even when you make a request. We prefer to buy local, but unfortunately, Michael's (the chainstore) is better than Allard's (but still not up to our standard, which admittedly, is high.) We spend several thousands of dollars on art supplies every year, but unfortunately, it is all spent on-line and out of the area.
Pros: It's next to Trader Joe's...
Cons: attitude of staff, variety and quality of product, unwillingness to accommodate
