Businiess name:  Bahay Kubo Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
A friend from out of town was craving good filipino food. Dilemma...didn't want to drive out to Glendale on a Sunday, so looked for a restaurant within the city limits. Based on the previous reviewer's comments, went to Bahay Kubo and was sorely disappointed!!! I had the pork and chicken adobo and fried fish. Despite the grease (a little never hurts), the adobo did not have that nice vinegar twang and the fish was doused with patis, vinegar, banana sauce....whatever I could get my hands on to give it some flavor!! Moral of the story...a trip to Glendale's Max's or Barrio Fiesta unless anyone else can recommend a tastier LA filipino alternative?!?! Pros: cheap Cons: limited parking, not appetizing
