I always enjoy visiting GS. Mr Stringer is an acoustic guitar genius and both him and his son are very knowledgeable and helpful on equipment and guitar setups. If you think the prices are a few dollars more than larger venues then purchase from one and you will spend the money saved on setups. I know because it happened to me in 1989 and ended up at GS, a place that knows how a Strat should be setup and have purchased and visited there since. They will sell you nothing that can't be worked on or trash. Mr Stringer has been known to send stuff back to the mfg if it don't pass his inspection and it then probably ends up at Walmart or one of the larger Shops. If you want a quality instrument and true knowledge of equipment and a place that don't just sell to get a sell but wants customer satisfaction is Guitar Stringer. Only Mom and Pop or Son and Pop places will give it to you straight and that's why I buy, trade and sell with these guys.
Pros: More parking is now availabe alone with an added section in the near future
Cons: Not a large selecton of amps, but will order what is needed
