Sure, it can get crowded. I almost always avoid Sephora on the weekends. However, I had a friend in town who insisted we go on a Sunday. Even though it was shoulder-to-shoulder, we found salespeople who were happy to help, offer suggestions, point us in the right directions and even hunt down testers and try things out on us. When I mentioned my upcoming wedding, I was directed to a chair for my own make-over, after which I was given a schematic of how to replicate the look. This was the second time I've had a make-over there; both times the consultants took my opinions into account and gave me a look that seemed like me, not the pictures in the catalog. I highly recommend taking some time to talk about your skincare needs, and plan your trip with reason. If it's crowded, you may not get the one-on-one time you want, so either come back another time or politiely grab someone and lay out your needs. The nicer you are and the more time you spend discussing your beauty issues, the more likely you are to get a treasure trove of samples! Pros: Beautiful make-overs, testers, knowledgeable salespeople, friendly salespeople, huge variety, large price range Cons: crowded sometimes
