Businiess name:  Wagstaff's Steak House

Review content:
I've been going to Wagstaff's for 6+ years. Sometimes alone, sometimes with business clients and sometimes with large groups. What I can say with absolute certainty is they cook their steaks, chicken, and some of the shellfish (including fish) over REAL charcoal. Their NY Strip or Ribeye is USDA ""Top Choice"" vs, the very pricy eateries who use USDA Prime. You will pay a lot more to Prime steaks, and the quality is (in my opinion) not worth the difference in money. In the 6 years I have been dining at Wagstaff's I have never had a bad meal nor a steak that was not tasty and tender, with the unmistakable flavor of meat roasted over real characoal. For those who want a drink, their mixed beverages are not skimpy (I like Martini's) nor watered down. You don't have to ask for water - and they allow you to smoke (no pipes nor cigars) in the small smoking section (which has electronic air cleaners). Wagstaff's is a class act without the air of pretense. If you want an above average meal at a reasonable price, and not have to dress to the teeth unless you want to, Wagstaff's is a restaurant you will want to come back and dine at, over and over again. Pros: Killer freshly cooked shrimp cocktail, live charcoal cooking Cons: Very Busy - reservations a must
