They say that to find great service or skilled craftmanship it's worth the trip to the ""best"" part of town. Not that anywhere in Bellevue is too shady, but evidently it's true in this case: Boardwalk Shoe Repair has to be my favorite shoe repair that I've ever frequented. Daniel, the jovial craftsman serving up new soles and perfected heel reattachments operates a tight business. He regularly repairs high end and designer shoes, (as a look at his shelves show), and greets guests with old world hospitality and an intelligent, deeply comtemplative but pleasant demeanor. (For companionship, he also keeps a free roaming Cockatiel (bird) on the premise, who usually lurks around further back in the shop, singing at end.) He does an incredible job resoling shoes. I brought him three designer shoes, all with rather difficult or angular soles, and his finish work was absolutely impeccable. Great attention to detail! Amazing! I am very very pleased. AAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++++!!!!
