Review content:
My wife and I were celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Starlite last week. We had been to their old location on 34th street, but we don't go downtown a lot. The new location is so elegant, with the wood planks above the bar and the chandelier in the dining room. We called ahead and asked for an intimate table, and the manager recommended the upstairs lounge. It was just what we wanted for a nice, quiet dinner. They have another bar up there with couches to relax and enjoy an after dinner drink. Now, the food. For starters, we tried the risotto, which is one of the best in town. After that, the warm spinach salad, which I have to say thankfully hasn't changed since the old location. The main course we tried the Striped Bass, recommended by the waiter and the Beef Tenderloin, which rivals any steakhouse around here. The dessert we tried was a flourless chocolate cake that melted in your mouth. I can see why they moved up on the top ten list. Our dinner was exactly what we were looking for, and we are going back, not just for a special occasion. You will love it as well. Pros: Amazing Food and Cocktails Cons: Use Valet Service
