I'm mostly amused by the folks who give poor reviews of Wheelers. Most of their complaints are simply absurd! I've been a seasonal camper there for many years and have noticed that the people who get upset with the way the campground is run are usually folks who try to get around the rules and then lose their tempers in self-rightous indignation! Yes, the Wheelers are strict about campers adhering to their rules. If they break the rules for one group, they must do so for all groups. Is that so hard to understand? The Wheeler family works hard to keep a clean, well-maintained, and green-friendly campground. I've found them to be nothing but caring and helpful. Wheelers is great!
