Review content:
My wife and I were drawn to Felicia?s by their low prices, but we soon learned that ? as the saying goes ? you get what you pay for. After purchasing our invitations there, my wife returned to look at table linens and chair covers. Kim, the owner, wasn?t in the store that day, and no one else would give us a quote. So Kim called later that day to quote us an amount, and to record our information for the rental contract. She asked for a credit card to hold the reservation, so my wife told her to use the one they had on file, with the understanding that no charge would be made until we had reviewed and signed the contract. This all took place on a Saturday. On Sunday, my wife and I reviewed our wedding budget, and begrudgingly decided to forego the chair covers. Since Felicia?s was closed, I put off calling them until first thing the next morning. When I requested to remove the chair covers from the order, Kim informed me that she would do so, but that she?d have to keep our 50% deposit. My question to her was simply: ?What deposit?? She then informed me that my wife had authorized a charge to my credit card for 50% of the contract amount. My next question: ?What contract?? I politely explained to Kim that there was no contract (and even if there was, I had authorized no such charge to my credit card), but she wouldn?t budge. So I told her that if she would not refund the charge, I would dispute it with my credit card company. At this point, Kim became belligerent, so - true to my word - I disputed the charge, and won. So please ? don?t make the same mistake we did. Don?t be charmed by the low prices. This is a low class operation that should be avoided at all costs.
Pros: low cost
Cons: horrible customer service
