Review content:
I needed work done on some shoes. I stopped by this shop - my first trip. I discussed at length what needed done on the shoes. I did not have the shoes with me because I ran by on an impulse to see if they could handle the work. After my discussion, I felt good about the shop. I was told to come back and bring the shoes. My second trip - I stopped in with 6 pairs of shoes. I was told in a very unprofessional manner that he was backed up and to check back in a month. So I waited and while I waited, I checked around to see if anyone else was available. However, this shop is convenient for me as I drive past it every day after work so I really wanted to try to stick with it. My third trip - shoes in hand - after a month of waiting as informed - I stop by. I am waiting my turn at the counter and when I stepped up, I'm told to wait just a minute. Instead of the shopkeeper coming over to the counter to discuss my needs, he shouts out in front of everyone that he is not taking any orthopedic work until he is caught up. I advised him that's what he told me last month to which he repeated he wasn't taking any orthopedic work until he is caught up. This was said loudly and in front of everyone in the shop. He then told the counter worker to get my name and number to which I replied never mind as this had been my third trip in and I wouldn't be returning. If you don't want to work on orthopedic shoes, just say so and don't waste my time.
