DO NOT USE THIS VET!!! I took my dog here after getting bit by something in the yard. Mr. Mossburg (I will not call him DR. because he doesn't deserve that title) quickly looked at her, said he really didn't know what it was, ( she had fang marks on her face) that maybe it was a scorpion bite. I told him I was concerned with the marks on her face so they kept her for 3 hours to observe her. She was increasingly worse when we picked her up but they insisted she would be fine. The Vet did not speak to us when we picked her up, a tech brought her out charged us $350 and sent us on our way. At 4 AM we awake to check on her because she normally sleeps in the bed with us and she wasn't there. We found her on the floor completely lifeless and her leg was all bloody. We rushed her to the emergency Vet off of Sonterra. They are wonderful by the way. It turns out my little girl was bitten by a rattle snake. After 2 anti venom doses, a blood transfusion, plasma treatment, a skin graph because the venom destroyed all of the tissue on her leg and $7,000 later she past away. Because she was sent away without treatment the venom had done to much damage for her little body to handle. I'm just saying if you take your dog to a Vet that cant diagnose a snake bite when there is a clear bit on the face and the owner keeps insisting that maybe its a snake, go somewhere else. After I informed them that they had misdiagnosed my dog and she passed away Dr. Rodriquez showed no sympathy, never said he was sorry to hear that our dog passed away. Instead he tried claiming that the correct treatment was given to our dog. We are currently suing them.
