I rented an apartment for my daughter at Hayes Place Apts in March 2009. My daughter was going through a custody battle and was traveling out of state for the next two month and stayed at the apartments a total of maybe 2 weeks of sleeps. NO dishes (silverware) was unpacked..matter of fact they are still in a taped up box in my garage and they charged us for a NEW countop because of knife marks! GIVE ME A BREAK! I cleaned the apartment and I know for a fact there were NO knife marks on that countop...but who knows WHO put them there after we turned the keys in. Be aware of these people...they will do anything to take your money. The apartments are getto and are very trashy. The only reason we put my daughter there was because we knew she was not going to be staying there and it was cheap...I guess you get what you pay for. Apparently this website will not let me mention the place you call when you have a problem with a small business but I'm sure you know who i'm talking about, and they have a rating of ""F""! What does that tell you. There have been MANY MANY complaints but HAYES PLACE APARTMENTS will not respond. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Also, we did as they asked because we wanted to get out of the lease so in April 2009 we gave a 60 day notice...60 day (2 MONTHS) notice to vacate the apartment. We paid this crapy piece of sh** apartments over $1,500 which included the special of $40.00 per month discount we got...WOW, two months of rent and the relent fee and they turn around and come up with some bullsh** excuse to not give our deposit back...Do you really want to live at a place that has no problem taking your money but to give you a refund of $150.00 NO CAN DO! The apartments are so run down and trashy I'm glad my daughter stayed away and was gone most of the time. You can go by the dumpster and sit on the 3 nasty peices of furniture sitting out there at ALL times! Spread the word....these people are bad news and will take your money in a heartbeat. As you can tell I'm VERY unhappy with this place because i do not like to be taken advantage of. My mistake...and it will NEVER happen to me again is that I did not take pictures of the place before we moved things in.
Pros: Pros??? Please, these people are CONS!
Cons: RIP you off and take your money!
