Review content:
I have never had a more frustrating customer service experience. I dropped off two sleeping bags to be laundered (they required a front-loading wash, which I don't have at home, and I didn't have time to stay and do them myself) and was told they would be available for pickup the next day. When I asked how much it would cost, the woman said ""I don't know? $15?"" A little pricey, but whatever, I was paying for the convenience. When I came back to pick them up, she brought them out and told me it would be $30. I was a little surprised and said, ""Oh, you told me it would only be $15."" She replied, ""Each."" I responded that she hadn't specified that it was $15 per sleeping bag (which is ridiculous -- they were being laundered, not dry cleaned) and she fired back that she had. I told her that I hadn't agreed to that price and that she had only said $15. She raised her voice and said it would be $30 or I wouldn't be getting my sleeping bags. I reiterated that she had only said $15. She yelled at me again, saying that she'd been working there for 20 years and that it had always been that much (odd given when I had asked the price during drop-off she said ""I don't know?"") and I said that it was my first time there so I had no way of knowing that. Again, I said (very frustrated at this point) that she had quoted me $15 and never mentioned that it was per sleeping bag, and that I didn't intend to pay double what I had been told it would cost. She yelled at me, saying that I needed to stop picking on her -- which dumbfounded me -- and kept telling me that I must have misheard her and that she had explicitly told me each. Long story short this continued for another minute or so before I finally just caved and paid the full $30 as she continued to squawk at me irately. Needless to say, I will never be back. Apparently she's been there for two decades, but maybe it's time to find someone with better people skills to work the front desk.
